Sacred Heart School includes 2 buildings, the original school building and a connecting annex building. The school building houses kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms, cafeteria, gymnasium, and the band room. The annex building has individual classrooms for art, science, library, remedial, and a computer lab. The first floor of the annex is the location of our child day care center. Our third building is where the Senior Day Care facility is located, across the street in the church’s lower level.
We believe that creativity is an important part of learning and that it is important that our students learn to express themselves in art.
Computers have become an integral part of business and our everyday lives. We believe that starting our students off with a good foundation in understanding technology will prepare them for whatever careers they choose for themselves in the future. Our state of the art equipment recently includes interactive whiteboards.
In our science lab, students learn about everything from nature and biology to space and chemistry.
Reading is an important skill for anyone. In our library, we encourage students to discover the joys of reading with over 3,000 books to choose from.
Exercising your body is just as important as exercising your mind. In our full size gym, students learn how to work as a team as well as maintaining good health.
With over 40 students in grades 3-8 participating, the band has become our most recognized extra-curricular activity. Their after school practices are held in this designated space.
